We have some pretty terrific volunteers around here and we like to let them know it! As part of honoring our volunteers, we will starting posting our Volunteers of the Month up here on our blog.

Say hello to Megan Loeks, our May 2010 Volunteer of the Month!

Megan Loeks is the Volunteer of the Month for May 2010. The wife of a National Guard soldier, Megan uses her energy and passion for military families as a Red Cross volunteer. She started volunteering with the Service to the Armed Forces department in December and has already made an immediate impact in the military community. Megan’s duties include briefing military members and their loved ones on the services that the American Red Cross provides to them. She also helps plan and organize events to connect our local families together. Megan carries out her duties with the utmost devotion and passion for service. It is a pleasure to work alongside her. Thank you, Megan!
