We all make resolutions for the New Year and as 2009 is kicking off, what will your goal be?
Why not resolve to help save a life?
As everyone is tightening their belts in the economic recession, it can be hard to find funds when you want to give back to your community. Why not donate blood? It’s free, takes only an hour and can save up to three lives!
We are experiencing a severe blood shortage right now, and with the upcoming colder winter weather, the need for blood is ever increasing! Only about 5% of the eligible population actually donates blood. You can help change this number by taking the time to give the gift of life. There are blood drives all over every county and offer many options for you to pick what fits your schedule best.
If you have any questions or would like more information about donating blood, please contact Elizabeth Martin at (616) 456-8661 ext. 3001 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
