EVENT: Lifesavers Tours

How much do you know about your local Red Cross? You want to know more, don’t you?

Well then, why don’t you take a Lifesavers Tour?

A Lifesavers Tour is a one-hour tour that tells you stories of how the Red Cross serves your community, where you hear from some of our clients, staff, and volunteers.  You even get a tour of our building and see where all the excitement happens! We promise to inspire you and know you’ll walk away, amazed by all that your local Red Cross does.

These tours take place every other Wednesday, and include a FREE lunch, provided by local restaurants (how can you beat that? Answer: You can’t!). Take an hour and stop by to see what the Red Cross does and how you can be a part of it. Invite friends, family and coworkers!

EVENT: Volunteer Orientations

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your community and at your Red Cross! Especially in this weak economy, becoming a volunteer gives you great work experience as you’re looking for employment. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the Red Cross of Greater Grand Rapids, to help those in our community prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies, we’d love to have you!
